WHAT IS STUCCO?
Stucco is a versatile facing material that can be applied to flat or curved surfaces either inside or outside any building or structure. Stucco has great appeal as a surface finish because of its utility, low first cost, and minimum need for maintenance.
The final appearance of the finish coat can be varied by changing the size and shape of the aggregate, using colored cement, adding pigments, changing the consistency of the finish mix, the method or equipment used for plastering, and the plasterer's skill in manipulating the finish coat.
WHY USE STUCCO?
Durable: Due to its very durable finish material, stucco can typically over more than 50 years. It expands and contracts with weather to prevent any critical damage. It is also found to be resistant to mildew, rot, and mold.
Appearance: Stucco offers a broad range of customizations. The finish can be super smooth or highly textured. It compliments many architectural styles and can be tinted to any color you would like.
Fire Resistance: With Texas heat, it is important to be aware of fires. The fire resistance level of stucco is higher compared to other exterior options!
Cost: Although stucco is one of the most durable finishing materials, it features low annual maintenance cost when compared to other materials!
